Sylvia Schüpbach, Attorney-at-Law

Sylvia Schüpbach studied law at the University of Bern and graduated as an advocate in 1996. She first worked in tenancy and labour law, then in criminal law and legislation. She has been working in public health law since 1998, initially as an employee in the legal services of the Federal Office of Public Health (FOPH) and the Therapeutic Products Control Authority (ICS and Swissmedic respectively), and since 2003 as an attorney and partner of Pharmalex GmbH.

With her extensive experience, she is very well networked and has good contacts with the authorities and other partners in the healthcare sector.
Sylvia Schüpbach is an expert in the entire field of life science law, in particular therapeutic products law. She provides advice, writes expert opinions and conducts negotiations in conflict situations. As a lawyer, she represents her clients in proceedings before authorities and courts.

She also enjoys conducting in-house training courses and is active as a speaker for various organisations.
